Our Mission
The
mission of the 3rd Field Engineer Squadron Association is to support
3rd Field Engineer Squadron in social and ceremonial events and to
advocate on behalf of the unit to the community and governments.
Our
Objectives
-
To enhance the image
of 3rd Field Engineer Squadron by promoting its accomplishments
and by increasing the involvement and size of unit social and ceremonial
events. This enhanced image
should lead to an increase in the quality and number of potential recruits
and eventually result in achieving regimental status.

To contribute to the
success of unit social events, in particular the annual Squadron Dinner,
through a positive contribution of history and enthusiastic
numbers to make these events economically feasible.

To support squadron
ceremonial events such as Change of Command parades, Freedom of the City
parades and other similar events through volunteer labour and a modest
financial contribution.

To support unique
projects, such as the publishing of the 3FES history, through financial
donations, volunteer labour and widespread publicity.
- On
occasion, when requested by the unit, undertake specific advocacy campaigns
directed at the local community or at government. (e.g.. Support to Cadet
Corps to find a suitable new home in Orleans) and as appropriate, to include
fund/friend raising.
